About the Event
More than 300 young men and women from the Greater Philadelphia region attend our nation’s Service Academies. The cadets and midshipmen of the U.S. Service Academies undertake intense academic, leadership, and physical training requiring their highest level of commitment through four years at their respective Academy. Upon graduation, each must serve at least five years of active duty, risking the ultimate sacrifice. Many will see immediate action in global operations and will serve our country for many years.
The Delaware Valley All Service Academies Ball is one way we pay tribute to these young men and women who have committed themselves to the service of our nation. Each year during their short winter break, these young men and women, along with their families, are recognized at this formal event. This evening out includes a cocktail hour, plated three course meal, cash bar, special speakers, dancing and Grog!
It is the honor of the regional parent groups of the United States Coast Guard Academy and United States Merchant Marines Academy to plan and host the 2023 event. We are seeking corporate, small business, and private sponsors to help us reach our target of $50,000.
